Active X is a set of programming technologies and tools, which are object oriented. The main technology of Active X is the Component Object Model. Component Object Model, when used in a network having a directory and additional support, it becomes the Distributed Component Object Model. Through Active X and using a variety of programming tools like Java, C and Visual Basic developers can create interactive Web content. Active X technology allows users to view MS Word document and MS Excel spreadsheet directly in an Internet browser. Computers can be set, either manually or by some security software to block Active X controls. Windows allows you to control the use of Active X controls according to your needs or sensitivity.
